Lately I've been working a lot on my OSCAR protocol documentation project. The goal of this project is to comprehensively document the OSCAR protocol, both its data structures and its behavior. I would say at the moment, 25% of the protocol is documented thoroughly, another 10% is documented a little bit, and the rest has not been documented at all yet.
Along with someone named Hoov, who has begun to contribute, documentation has been written for a great deal of Server-Stored Information (including the buddy list, block list, and so on). I also wrote documentation for Instant Messages, typing notification, and some other related stuff. I spent much of today documenting more server-stored information and the generic detailed user information block.
As always, the OSCAR documentation project is looking for contributors who are familiar with the OSCAR protocol. The site is a Wiki, so anyone can contribute without having to download or upload anything, it's all done inline on the website.
